The closing night of Cinema Italian Style at the Aero Theater featured a sold out engagement of the critically acclaimed Marco Bellocchio historical drama, VINCERE (WIN!). The film stars Giovanna Mezzogiorno and Filippio Timi, whose portrayal of Benito Mussolini was greeted by an enthusiastic crowd and a lively Q & A session with Daily Variety’s executive editor Steven Gaydos and Cinema Italian Style artistic director Silvia Bizio. The evening and the festival came to a close with an exclusive five course dinner at Il Grano featuring just the right amount of food and cinema, Italian style!
